Abstract: Counselors in China Higher Vocational and Technical College are mainly responsible for educating and guiding students' behavior and moral standards, correcting some students' behavior and strengthening students' legal consciousness. Counselors are good teachers and helpful friends of students' quality education. The characteristics of counselors as important educators cannot be ignored. But in reality, the assessment, evaluation, promotion, salary adjustment and other aspects of higher vocational colleges still favor front-line teachers and researchers, while the counselors are ignored. This practice has damaged the professional confidence and enthusiasm of counselors, which is an important reason for the high dimission rate of counselors, which has aroused the attention of many educators. In this context, as early as 1999, there appeared a lot of academic papers on the analysis and research of the high dimission rate of counselors in private vocational colleges. The high turnover rate of counselors in private higher vocational and technical colleges in China has seriously affected the teaching quality of the schools, as well as the students' behavior and moral norms during the school period. The purpose of writing this article is to study how to solve the problem of high dimission rate of counselors in private vocational colleges through detailed data and systematic demonstration. At the same time, it is scientifically demonstrated that as the director of students' quality-oriented education, the counselor has the characteristics of the implementer of education. Using the method of big data analysis, we come to the conclusion that counselors are important implementers of students' quality-oriented education, and counselors also play an important role in cultivating students' good moral quality. This point of view is affirmed in the article, the counselor's position is irreplaceable.

Abstract: It is well known that our country's education is entangled with complex problems of relevance, quality, accessibility and equity. This traditional pedagogy has been identified as one of the major reasons adversely impacting student engagement and motivation in different fields. The main aim of the current study was to promote active learning methods in the Department of physics students of Wolaita Sodo University. A descriptive survey research design was employed. Data were collected from primary sources through the questionnaire and observation. Among the department of physics students, 10 instructors and 36 students were selected using Yamane’s formula. Self-administered questionnaire was used to assess teachers’ practice of active learning methods and classroom observation. There was deviation (Std. Dev.=2.295) between the practice of ALMs and the response and the p-value (p=0.001) indicated the presence of significant association between the ALMs and the responses of students and also the observation but there was insignificant association in the response of teachers and ALMs. The major challenges of implementing ALMs are inability of students, students’ negative attitude, students’ poor attention, and language barriers. Therefore, training should be prepared for instructors to enhance ALMs that are least practiced by the instructors as well as to create awareness.

Abstract: In the course of learning Signals and Systems, it is one of the emphases and difficulties to determine the basic system properties, such as linearity, time-invariance and causality. In teaching, it is found that students often only know the written expression of the determination methods, but do not understand the core of the determination methods. So they feel difficult to use. In order to help students to understand, this paper focuses on giving popular and common explanations to the traditional determination methods of the above three basic system properties, rather than sticking to the rigor of the theory. As for linearity determination, from the embodiment of additivity and homogeneity, the input signals are constructed; the discrimination of time invariance is considered from two aspects: time delay and the transformation of signals by systems; it is more convenience for judgment of causality to obtain the time relationship of output and input from some special moments. By means of the comprehensible explanations of the determination methods in this paper, students can easily understand and master the traditional determination methods of three basic system properties. More importantly, they can apply it to solve the determination problems of linearity, time invariance and causality of systems.
